1. Scope

This policy explains how SeyTou LTD protects confidential information entrusted by customers, suppliers and partners.

2. Definition of confidential information

Any non-public information concerning a customer’s identity, contact details, payment data, personal items, design specifications, pricing, or business processes.

3. Our commitments

• Use confidential information only to execute requested repair or related services.
• Restrict access to authorised staff bound by written confidentiality clauses.
• Store physical items in secure, monitored workshop areas.
• Implement technical measures (encryption, access control) to protect digital data.
• Dispose of records securely (shredding / secure deletion) when retention period ends.

4. Third-party disclosure

Information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with vetted couriers, payment processors or specialist subcontractors, each under equivalent confidentiality obligations.

5. Customer responsibilities

Customers should remove personally sensitive contents (e.g. documents in bags) before handing items for repair and notify us of any proprietary or trade-secret material.

6. Breach notification

In the unlikely event of a confidentiality breach, we will promptly inform affected parties and take remedial steps in line with UK GDPR requirements.
